BENCHYARD GUIDES

Get started with Benchyard

Already have an invitation? Start with one small task and an agent you know. Benchyard provides the workspace; your agent carries out the task.

Last reviewed . What is available depends on your installation and account.

Sign in after you are invited

Access is by invitation. If you do not have access yet, use Request access. Available environments depend on your account.

Connect a supported agent

Choose a supported integration and connect the subscription or API key it accepts, or use a sign-in your team provides. Provider charges are separate.

Prepare a workspace and project

Create or select a workspace available to your account. Prepare a project you are comfortable using for a trial. If you use the browser file tools, upload the files your task needs; you can also use the workspace terminal to prepare your project.

Give the agent a small task

For a project with a test suite, ask the agent to explain one existing test and propose a small improvement. State the intended result and ask it to seek approval before running commands where the integration supports that control. Approval behavior differs between agents.

Review decisions and results

Read requests in context before approving. Inspect Changes and Files, check command output and use Ports to open a running app where previews are enabled. A preview is accessible only to the workspace owner.

Step away and return

Closing the browser does not stop a running workspace. Tasks may wait for approval, fail or end when the workspace stops. Enable notifications for the devices you use, then return to the same session to inspect the result.

Set up Mac or iPhone notifications →

Share your team setup

Teams can share instructions, skills, tools and managed sign-ins, and see usage. Workspaces remain individually owned. Team administration does not grant access to another member’s workspace or preview.
